(Sims 3) I’m not 100% sure on this so as soon as I can hop on my PC I’ll let you know. I’m not at my computer at the moment so I can’t really double check to see if this would even work so PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP OF BOTH THE SIMS DOCUMENT FILES AND ORIGIN SYSTEM FILES JUST IN CASE. I’m not sure exactly what Origin’s system files look like, but if it has downloaded stuff in a sub folder, maybe you could find the expansion files and copy & paste them into your sims document files, specifically the downloads folder. Possible Solution 2 If you aren’t too computer savvy I really don’t recommend doing this because it has a bit of potential to mess up your files. This is probably the easiest way to fix the problem. Restarting your computer after completely uninstalling and before doing a new installation could very possibly make a difference, I’ve seen this fix problems in the past.
I’m not too knowledgeable on the launcher itself but from what I heard it’s about as poorly optimized as The Sims 3 its self (Not to talk badly of the best game ever, of course.)Įdit: Restart your computer completely before doing this. Possible Solution 1 I recommend uninstalling the whole launcher and installing everything again.
